"...another favorite, "Lot Lizards" by Kathryn O’Sullivan and directed by Paul Awad, relates the life of three prostitutes at a truck
stop and their aspirations of escaping that life and the fears that it may be too late. The star of this play was Donelle (Millie
Langford) who captured everyone's attention with her attitude and eloquence. My favorite lines are:
Elena, not yet accustomed to American
Culture having recently relocated from Russia, discovers that her boyfriend Ronnie has killed a convenience store worker, was shown
on America's Most Wanted, and is hiding out somewhere.
Donelle: ... will kill him in his sleep.
Elena: Oh, that will never happen.
Ronnie is impotent.
Goldie: You mean insomniac.
Elena: What is difference?
Donelle: One stays up all night. "
